3. Aid training business representative organizations (BROs) and SMEs towards sustainable development.
4. Promote the co-operation between the EU and target companies to accelerate compliance with the EU «acquis».
5. Enhance cooperation and networking among BROs.
6. Strengthening BROs to have self sustainable specific objectives.
7. Give a better image of the woodworking and furniture sectors with authorities and consumers.

~ Updated directive 90/394/EC on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogenic at work (wood dust) to the new Council Directive on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens and mutagens at work 2004/37/EC.
